Pro-Rata (Half-Time) Position, Psychology Faculty

Job Summary:

The Psychology Department at Judson University seeks applications and nominations of distinctive candidates for a faculty appointment in psychology. With more than 80 students, psychology is one of the larger majors on campus. This is a one-year, pro-rata/half-time position beginning in August 2018. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Instructional responsibilities include teaching two courses per semester in the psychology core, advising students, working collaboratively on departmental projects, and engaging regularly in professional development and scholarly activity. 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will 1) have a PhD or PsyD in psychology, with a preference for counseling or clinical psychology (however, the search committee will consider other areas of expertise); 2) demonstrate an active and growing Christian faith; 3) share a commitment to excellence in teaching within a Christ-centered academic community; and 4) possess collaborative skills to work with colleagues across the psychology and counseling programs and throughout the university.

Rank and salary based on qualifications, education and work experience.
