Psychology & Sociology - Adjunct Faculty Position
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences seeks applications from individuals to teach two courses in the spring semester of 2015: Personality; Basic Helping Skills. Candidates may request to teach one of the courses or to teach both courses.
Candidates for adjunct faculty positions must support Judson University’s distinctively Christian Mission and must 1) hold an earned master’s degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and the family, social work, or a related field; doctorate preferred 2) demonstrate an active and growing Christian faith 3) share a commitment to excellence in teaching within a Christ-centered, academic community,4) be willing to affirm the university’s mission and community standards (see www.judsonu.edu/about/) and 5) possess collaborative skills to work with colleagues in the department and faculty in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.
Adjunct faculty hold the rank of instructor and are hired on a per course basis.
