Assistant Professor in Sport Management (half-time)
The Department of Exercise & Sport Science advances the understanding of health, physical education, recreation and sport through diverse practices to improve life quality and promote healthful choices to attain successful living. It is housed in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and actively collaborates cross-departmentally with the School of Education and the School of Leadership and Business.
Teach 12 hours (6 credits each semester) in courses such as sport law, organization and administration of sport, sport marketing, and other related areas (General Education Activity Courses, Wellness); productive scholarly research; provide service to the department, division and university.
Candidates must 1) hold an earned master’s degree in Sport Management or related field, 2) demonstrate an active and growing Christian faith, 3) share a commitment to excellence in teaching within a Christ-centered academic community, 4) be willing to affirm the university’s mission and community standards (seewww.judsonu.edu/about/) and 5) possess collaborative skills to work with colleagues across the Exercise and Sport Science Department and throughout the university.
Rank and salary based on qualifications, education and work experience.
