Assistant or Associate Professor of Computer Science (Cybersecurity)

Job Summary:

Judson University invites applications for a full-time faculty opening to lead and teach in the Computer Science (Cybersecurity) program.  

Primary Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for curriculum development and modification, writing and teaching traditional and online courses in the major, hiring adjunct faculty to write and teach courses, developing certifications for students and regional industry professionals, supporting admissions in recruiting students, and developing partnerships in the private sector, education, and non-profits for internships and employment opportunities for students. In addition, the successful candidate will be active in the field as a practitioner scholar, and contribute to the goals of the University strategic plan. 

Qualifications:

Candidates must 1) hold an earned master’s degree, doctorate preferred, in Computer Science or relevant sub-discipline with content expertise in Cybersecurity; 2) a commitment to the Mission, Educational Goals, and Community Standards of the University; 3) support Christian liberal arts education, with the ability to integrate faith and the discipline of Computer Science in an engaging and compelling manner; and 4) possess collaborative skills to work with colleagues throughout the University.
