Core Faculty, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
The Human Sciences Department in the School of Business and Professional Studies at Judson University seeks a Core Faculty member for the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. This position is a full-time, professional track faculty position with teaching and Practicum/Internship Coordination duties. The ideal candidate will hold a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision, preferably from a CACREP accredited institution, OR doctoral degree in a related field with full time employment experience as Counselor Education faculty for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013.
The faculty member is responsible for teaching in and mentoring students enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Additional duties include serving as the Practicum and Internship Coordinator for the academic unit.
Candidates must 1) hold an earned doctorate in counselor education and supervision, preferably from a CACREP accredited institution OR doctoral degree in a related field with full time employment experience as Counselor Education faculty for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013, 2) demonstrate an active and growing Christian faith, 3) share a commitment to excellence in teaching within a Christ-centered academic community, and 4) possess collaborative skills to work with colleagues across the Human Sciences Department and throughout the university.
