Assistant Vice President for Information Technologies
Brent Richardson joined Judson University as the Information Technology (IT) Director in the fall of 2009 and took on the title of Assistant Vice President for Information Technologies in 2014.
Brent has been serving in the technology field since 1982, focusing his attention on technical solutions, business partnership and strategic planning. He has served a variety of organizations including IBM, Willow Creek Community Church, Hewitt Associates (now Aon/Hewitt), MicroTrain, Axciom Corporation, TransUnion, and Apple Corporation. Brent has held positions such as Network Manager, IT team leader, IT infrastructure "architect," project manager, project coach/trainer, internal business consultant and client consultant.
Brent holds two bachelor's degrees; from Indiana University (psychology) and from Moody Bible Institute (pastoral studies). He also holds professional certificates in Project Management Professionals (PMP) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Brent is also a qualified instructor in both the PMP and ITIL certification courses.
Brent and his wife, Cheryl, live in Algonquin, Ill., and have two sons, Benjamin and Jonathan. The Richardsons have served Willow Creek Community Church since 1989.
