Devlin Donaldson

Senior Vice President for External Relations

Devlin DonaldsonJudson alumnus Devlin Donaldson ’79 joined Judson’s leadership team on June 1, 2015, as the Senior Vice President for External Relations.

Prior to joining Judson, Donaldson worked in digital publishing of religious material with NOVO Ink, and as President and CEO of the Vista Grande Company, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

For 14 years he was President of The Elevation Group, a growth consulting firm, where he helped hundreds of small ministry clients and larger nonprofits with program development, building leadership platforms, and creating and maintaining partnerships.

He also spent 18 years at Colorado-based Compassion International, where he held various positions within the Christian children’s sponsorship group, including heading the artists program, leading the sponsor ministry division, and as the Director of Marketing and Development.

He served as Interim President of New Hope International from 2011 to 2014, and has served three terms as a national board member of the Christian Leadership Alliance (formerly the Christian Management Association). He is currently serving as a Vice President on the Board of the Gospel Music Association.

Donaldson has authored two books, including “How to be a Great Boss Without Being Bossy” (Thomas Nelson, 1994) and “Pinocchio Nation: Embracing Truth in a Culture of Lies” (Pinon Press, 2001).

He is a 1979 Human Relations graduate of Judson University, where he served as a Board Trustee for eight years. He earned a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

He and his wife, Carol, have one daughter.

Donaldson’s office will remain in Colorado.
