Dean of Students
Lisa Jarot graduated from Judson University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry and Adolescent Studies. Following graduation she joined the staff at a local church as the Director of Student Ministry for middle and high school students and served there for four years. In 2007 Lisa was invited to join the staff at Sonlife, a para-church organization, working to equip youth workers.
Lisa and her husband Nate met at Judson and married in 2003. They spent the first eight years of their marriage traveling the world. Out of that love for different people and places Lisa returned to Judson in 2009 to advise international students. After four years of working directly with international students, Lisa’s role expanded in 2013 to serve the entire student body as Judson’s Dean of Students.
Lisa and Nate live in St. Charles, Ill., with their two-year-old son, Carter. The Jarots are actively involved in their church, volunteering to advocate for children in need of foster care and adoption. Lisa and her family travel to Haiti frequently to partner with an organization that is providing jobs for men and women in desperate situations. Out of this partnership, Lisa has created a business that works to support the needs of families in order to prevent children from ever becoming orphans.
