BarlowGirl Teams with Area Performers to Celebrate the Season with Benefit Concert
(Elgin, IL – November 23, 2011) Celebrate the sounds of the season and help bring hope for the holidays to area families through a benefit concert on Saturday, December 17 at the Hemmens Cultural Center.
“Home for the Holidays,” a night of Christmas music that will delight the whole family, features Dove award-nominated band BarlowGirl, the Elgin Children’s Chorus, the Elgin Youth Symphony, Christian Youth Theatre and a collection of singers from Judson University, where two of the Barlow sisters attended college.
Proceeds from the event will go to fill Elgin’s food pantries, so they can bring smiles and warm holiday meals to those in need. The show starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for balcony seating and $15 for general seating. Gold circle seats are $25 and Gold Circle Plus seating, which includes a pre-show meet-and-greet with BarlowGirl, are $50.
