Dr. Ed Stetzer to Speak in Chapel on January 17


Dr. Ed Stetzer - Jan 2018(ELGIN, IL – January 11, 2018) Renowned author, speaker and educator Dr. Ed Stetzer will speak in chapel on Wednesday, Jan. 17, in Herrick Chapel (1151 N. State St., Elgin). The chapel event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Stetzer is the interim teaching pastor at The Moody Church in Chicago. He also holds the Billy Graham Chair of Church, Mission, and Evangelism at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill., and serves as the executive director of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College. He has planted, revitalized and pastored churches, trained pastor and church planters on six continents and has written dozens of articles and books. He holds two master’s degrees and two doctorates.

Prior to coming to Wheaton College and subsequently The Moody Church, he was the executive director of LifeWay Research and executive editor of The Gospel Project and Facts & Trends magazine. He also served as the teaching pastor at Christ Fellowship, a multicultural church in Miami, Fla.

An influential blogger, Dr. Stetzer is often called on by media to speak about various matters of the Church. He last spoke at Judson in April 2017 during the inaugural "Unity in Diversity in Christ" day of events.
