Helix Education Acquires the Institute for Professional Development
(Elgin, IL – July 22, 2014) The Institute for Professional Development (IPD), one of our Judson partners for the undergraduate adult and graduate business programs, announced July 15 that Helix Education has acquired IPD in its entirety from Apollo Education Corporation.
Helix Education (www.helixeducation.com) offers solutions founded in data and technology throughout the student lifecycle.
“Judson President Gene Crume and I look forward to the opportunities associated with this new partnership,” states Dr. Will Friesen, Judson’s Provost and Chief Academic Officer.
As with IPD, Dr. David Cook, Interim Dean of the School of Leadership and Business, will coordinate the day-to-day relationship between Judson and Helix Education. Since Helix will keep the same team of employees in place to continue to serve in their current roles, the university does not anticipate any disruption of services to students during the transition.
