Judson Ranks No. 12 Among Baptist Colleges with High Starting Salaries for Graduates
(Elgin, IL - June 24, 2013) Judson University ranks No. 12 on a list of 26 Baptist colleges with graduates who earn high starting salaries, according to AffordableCollegesOnline.org (ACO).
To compile its list, ACO reviewed four-year, fully accredited private institutions with average starting salaries for graduates of more than $30,000 per year. The website also looked at mid-career salary averages as well as the overall return on investment for the degree. Colleges in the list must meet the criteria as four-year private U.S. colleges that are fully accredited and have a strong Baptist religious affiliation. The average starting salary of their students must be more than $30,000 per year. ACO compiled their lists from data sets provided by NCES, IPEDS, Carnegie Classification, and Payscale.com.
AffordableCollegesOnline.org provides prospective college students and their parents with information and resources to help them manage the cost of obtaining an education. It’s the first website to offer comprehensive lists of “Most Affordable Colleges” in different categories.
"This research affirms that the benefit of a Judson experience offers both a spiritual foundation and a practical career value for today's economy," says Judson University President Dr. Gene Crume in response to ACO's findings. "We are a Christian institution that fully prepares its students for successful careers and thriving spiritual lives."
In 2012, Judson was also ranked No. 20 of Best Colleges in the Midwest, according to the most recent Best Colleges by U.S. News and World Report.
