Judson Seeks Nominations for D. Ray Wilson Volunteer Service Award
(ELGIN, IL – March 12, 2013) Judson University is now seeking nominations for the D. Ray Wilson Volunteer Service Award, which is presented annually to the candidate who has contributed to the greater good within the Fox Valley community by voluntarily serving others' physical, emotional, intellectual or spiritual needs.
The D. Ray Wilson Volunteer Service Award will be given during Judson University's Community Prayer Breakfast to be held Wednesday, May 8, 2013, from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. in the Lindner Fitness Center (1151 N. State St., Elgin).
Last year, Judson honored Edward Hunter, Regional Vice President of Mission Services at Provena St. Joseph Hospital and Provena Mercy Medical, with the award. Past recipients have included Donna Anderson, Nancy Schueneman, Jack and Marlene Shales, Floyd Brown, Murna Hansemann, Dr. Clare Ollayos and Carl Flaks.
