Judson Theatre to Perform "The Comedy of Errors," April 18-20
(Elgin, IL - April 18, 2013) Judson University Theatre's spring play, "The Comedy of Errors," is on schedule to open at 7 p.m. this evening, Thursday, April 18, despite flooding issues on campus due to rain. Additional performances will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 in the Marjorie Thulin Performance Hall of the Thompson Center (1151 N. State St., Elgin). Patrons are being asked to park in the Lindner Tower or Lindner Fitness Center parking lots, where a shuttle bus will pick them up and drop them off before and after the performance.
"The Comedy of Errors," a production of Shakespeare's classic comedy, tells the story of two sets of identical twins that were accidentally separated at birth. When the twins encounter friends and families, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to wrongful beatings, a near-seduction and false accusations of infidelity, theft, madness, and demonic possession.
