Judson University Choir Prepares for Tour to Iowa and Illinois

(ELGIN, IL – October 18, 2018) Members of the Judson University Choir will embark on a six-city performance tour next month.

The 48-member choir, including vocalists and musicians, will travel along with Choir Director Dr. Warren Anderson to cities in Iowa and Illinois, starting Thursday, Nov. 1, through Sunday, Nov. 4. During that time, the choir will sing at area assemblies, serve in food pantries and minister at nearby ministries and missions. Some churches are the home churches for current students and alumni. Concerts performed by the choir are open to the public.

Here is a list of the upcoming scheduled visits:
On Thursday, Nov. 1, the choir will travel to Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, located at 601 Union Ave., in Sheldon, Ia. Choir members will sing 7 p.m.

On Friday, Nov. 2, choir members will sing at 9:55 a.m. at Unity Christian High School, located at 216 Michigan Ave., SW., Orange City, Ia.

Afterward, on Friday evening, they will travel to Open Bible Church (928 Jefferson St., Waterloo, Ia.) for a concert at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, Nov. 4, the choir will sing for two worship services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at Milford Christian Church (811 E. Hickory St., Milford, Ill.).

The evening of Sunday, Nov. 4, the choir tour will close with a 6:30 p.m. performance at First United Methodist Church (236 W. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake, Ill.).
