Judson University Choir and Civic Orchestra to Perform Spring Concert Featuring Special Guest Green Room Improv Team

(Elgin, IL - April 24, 2013) The 75-voice Judson University Choir and the Judson Civic Orchestra will perform their end-of-semester spring concert at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 in Herrick Chapel (1151 N. State St., Elgin).

This concert will also feature special performances in addition to the traditional choral and orchestral music. Retired Judson Professor Dr. Stuart “Doc” Ryder has written a new hymn text honoring Judson University’s namesake, Adoniram Judson. Judson alumnus and Founder of GreenRoom Improv, Dave Hunter, along with the entire GreenRoom Improv team, will be adding a humorous element to the evening. Additionally, senior music composition major Ben Richardson will premiere a new work for choir and orchestra. Please join the Judson community for an inspiring evening of music and laughter.

This event is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken.
