Judson University Students to Spend Spring Break Abroad for Missions and Choir Tour
(Elgin, IL March 11, 2013) Judson University commissioned three missions teams and the school choir to travel around the United States and overseas for spring break, beginning Friday, March 8.
Each year Judson students spend their spring break traveling domestically and internationally to partner with charity organizations. This year, Judson is partnering with organizations like the John M. Perkins Foundation for Racial Reconciliation in Jackson, Miss.; the Del Camino Network in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic; and churches in Sierra Leone. Students help these ministries by providing manual labor, childcare, academic tutoring, aid for soup kitchens and homeless shelters, and much more.
Judson University’s Choir will be on tour across the Midwest, visiting churches in Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio and Illinois. Judson Chancellor Jerry Cain will be at select choir concerts throughout the week. Concerts performed by the Judson Choir are open to the public and will be held at the following locations:
