Judson University to Hold Open Houses for New Graduate Programs

(Elgin, IL – November 6, 2013) Judson University will hold Open Houses in Elgin and Rockford to highlight two new graduate programs, the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Leadership in Business.

The first open house will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12 in the Lindner Tower Eagle Lounge in Lindner Tower on Judson’s Elgin campus (1151 N. State St.). The second open house will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 14 at Judson’s Rockford Campus (1055 Featherstone Dr., Suite A.).

Judson University’s Master of Business Administration is designed for working adults interested in fast-tracking their career and becoming a leader in their field. Courses integrate finance, marketing and strategic leadership to give you the tools needed to solve real-world organizational problems. All courses are designed by professionals for professionals. This accelerated, 39 credit-hour program is cohort based and will expand your network of career-long contacts. Students come from the worlds of business, not-for-profit and government, with courses available in both on-ground and online formats. Prospective students may also consider completing Judson’s Master of Business Administration and Master of Organizational Leadership sequentially. This dual-approach provides you with the balance of leadership and management skills sought by today’s employers. With as few as 60 credit-hours students can earn two graduate degrees for less than the cost of just one degree elsewhere.

The Master of Leadership in Ministry (MLM) is an accelerated, innovative, in-ministry, cohort-based program designed to educate, equip, and empower scholar-leaders for vocational ministry in churches and other ministry organizations. Building on knowledge and competencies developed in bachelor’s degrees currently offered in the Department of Christian Ministries (or comparable degrees), coursework is focused on integrating foundational knowledge of the Bible, theology, culture, and human development, with leadership and ministry practice. The program utilizes a hybrid of online coursework combined with strategically chosen face-to-face sessions including two courses taught on location in Israel.
