Judson University to Host Fall Preview Day for Prospective Students on September 2
(August 5, 2013 – Elgin, IL) As high school students begin their search for the right university to apply for this fall, Judson University is hosting a Preview Day on Monday, September 2 on its Elgin campus (1151 N. State St.) The opportunity will give students the chance to connect with the community and envision themselves as Judson students.
Students that attend Judson’s Preview Day will enjoy a full tour of its 90-acre campus located on the Fox River in Elgin. They will also attend a meeting for their desired major, where they can meet faculty and students in the program. In addition, they will get to attend chapel, dine in the cafeteria, and experience several other every day campus life activities.
Judson University is a fully accredited, private Christian university of the liberal arts, sciences and professions. Among more than 50 majors, minors and 10 pre-professional programs, Judson offers degrees in Architecture, Art and Design, Business, Education, Worship Arts, Film and Digital Media Studies, Speech Communication and the Performing Arts, English, Christian Ministries, Biblical and Theological Studies, Music, History and Intercultural Studies, Exercise and Sport Sciences, Psychology and Sociology, and Math and Sciences. This spring, Judson's School of Education established the university's first ever doctoral program, a Doctor of Education in Literacy. The university also provides masters programs in Architecture, Organizational Leadership, Education in Literacy, and Education with an ESL/Bilingual endorsement. Judson also offers baccalaureate degrees for adult professionals in the areas of Communications Management, Criminal Justice Management, Human Resource Management, Human Services, and Management and Leadership.
