Judson University to Host Overnight Preview Day for Prospective Students on November 10 - 11
(Elgin, IL – October 21, 2013) As high school students begin their search for the right university to apply for this fall, Judson University is hosting an Overnight Preview Day from Sunday, November 10 to Monday, November 11 on its Elgin campus (1151 N. State St.) The opportunity will give students the chance to connect with the community and envision themselves as Judson students.
Students that attend Judson’s Preview Day will get to spend Sunday night with current students and experience Judson dorm life. On Monday, they'll get a full tour of Judson's 90-acre campus located on the Fox River in Elgin. They will also attend a meeting for their desired major, where they can meet faculty and students in the program. In addition, they will get to attend chapel, dine in the cafeteria, and experience several other every day campus life activities.
The 10 a.m. chapel service on Monday will feature nationally renowned Christian Comedian Michael Jr., who was been featured on The Tonight Show, Comedy Central, TV One, The Late, Late Show, BET’s ComicView, Jimmy Kimmel Live, SiTV, CNN, The Tom Joyner Show, The Bob and Tom Show, DayBreak USA and Bryon Allen’s Comic Unleashed and ComedyTV, as well as some of the most prestigious comedy clubs across the nation. Michael’s versatility has taken him from major universities such as Notre Dame, the University of Massachusetts, and the University of Alabama, to church events ranging from the 60,000 member Willow Creek Church in Chicago to the 17,000 member West Angeles Church in L.A to the 10,000 member New Life Church in Colorado Springs.
Judson University is a fully accredited, private Christian university of the liberal arts, sciences and professions.
