Judson University to Host Overnight Preview Day for Prospective Students on October 13-14
(Elgin, IL - September 25, 2013) As high school students begin their search for the right university to apply for this fall, Judson University is hosting an Overnight Preview Day from Sunday, October 13 to Monday, October 14 on its Elgin campus (1151 N. State St.) The opportunity will give students the chance to connect with the community and envision themselves as Judson students.
Students that attend Judson’s Preview Day will get to spend Sunday night with current students and experience Judson dorm life. On Monday, they'll get a full tour of Judson's 90-acre campus located on the Fox River in Elgin. They will also attend a meeting for their desired major, where they can meet faculty and students in the program. In addition, they will get to attend chapel, dine in the cafeteria, and experience several other every day campus life activities.
The 10 a.m. chapel service on Monday will feature Chad Brennan, a multi-ethnic trainer for ReNew Partnerships in Dublin, Ohio. Brennan has ministered on the staff of a campus ministry in the Middle East, New York City, and Columbus from 1996 to 2005. During that time, he discovered how little he knew about sharing life and ministry with Christians outside of his ethnic group. In 2005, he and his wife Laurie launched ReNew Partnerships to help equip the Church in this critical area by facilitating talks, workshops, and training programs for different ministries and organizations. Brennan is also the author and producer of five, innovative e-learning sessions which are being used to equip hundreds of Christian leaders (students, faculty, pastors, etc.) each year.
