Judson Will Host an Overnight Preview Day Event February 18-19

Preview Overnight - Feb(ELGIN, IL – February 6, 2018) Judson University will host an overnight Preview Day event, Sunday and Monday, Feb. 18-19, for prospective students on the Elgin campus (1151 N. State St., Elgin).

During the two-day event, high school and transfer students interested in Judson’s traditional undergraduate programs will tour the campus, experience dorm life and attend informational sessions about academic programs and financial aid opportunities. Visitors will also speak with staff, faculty and students; participate in chapel; eat in the cafeteria; and hear from financial aid representatives.

Monday’s special chapel guest will be Bryan Loritts, author, speaker and lead pastor of Abundant Life Church in Silicon Valley, Calif. Loritts will usher in the Beyond Colorblind series.

“This event offers students a look at a Christian university and allows them to experience what it would be like to attend Judson,” said Director of Admissions and Traditional Marketing Molly Smith.

Judson University is a fully accredited, private Christian university of the liberal arts, sciences and professions. Among more than 65 majors, minors and pre-professional programs, Judson offers degrees in Architecture, Art and Design, English, Business, Education, Christian Ministries, Biblical Studies, Worship Arts, Music, History, Exercise and Sport Science, Psychology, and Math and Sciences. The school offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities with musical and theater ensembles, 19 intercollegiate sports, student government organizations and several ministry opportunities locally and abroad.

The university provides graduate programs in Architecture, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, Education in Literacy and Leadership in Ministry. Master’s programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Human Services Administration have been added for adult students. Judson also offers an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and baccalaureate degrees for adult professionals in the areas of Applied Psychology, Business Administration, Human Services and Organizational Leadership.
