Judson to Host Students from the Contemporary Music Center on Spring Tour
(Elgin, IL - March 27, 2012) Judson University will host a concert for 30 students from the Contemporary Music Center at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 1 in Herrick Chapel.
The Contemporary Music Center (CMC) is a semester-long off-campus study program for music students from Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) across the country, including Judson University. The CMC is located just outside of Nashville, Tenn., and provides students with the completely hands-on experience of planning and executing a week-long tour to various cities.
The students from CMC will play a 60 minute set, followed by a 30 minute set from Identity, a rap group featuring Judson student Caleb Sutton. The event is being organized by the Judson Student Organization, and it is free and open to the public. Those interested in attending can RSVP by joining the Facebook event.
