Judson to Welcome Pastor and Author Jarrid Wilson to Speak in Chapel

Jarrid Wilson(ELGIN, IL – November 1, 2017) Judson University looks to welcome inspirational blogger, pastor and author Jarrid Wilson of Nashville, Tenn., to campus on Friday, Nov. 10. He will be the guest speaker in Herrick Chapel (1151 N. State St., Elgin) at 10 a.m. on Preview Day. The event is free and open to the public.

Wilson is dedicated to a ministry of authenticity and transparency and makes such themes central to his leadership as pastor of Home Church Nashville and as co-founder (with his wife, Juli) of Anthem of Hope, a non-profit movement for those battling brokenness, depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicide and addiction.

He has written four books, including Wondrous Pursuit: Daily Encounters with an Almighty God, Love is Oxygen: How God Can Give You Life and Change Your World; Jesus Swagger: Break Free from Poser Christianity; and 30 Worlds: A Devotional for the Rest of Us.

He is also host of the “Free to be Human” podcast.
