New Life Covenant Campus Pastor David Marrero to Speak in Chapel

Pastor David Marrero(ELGIN, IL – September 11, 2018) Judson University will welcome David Marrero, pastor of New Life Covenant Humboldt Park Campus, to speak in the Hispanic Heritage Chapel service on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. in Herrick Chapel (1151 N. State St., Elgin). The event is free and open to the public.

Pastor Marrero is passionate about preaching the Word of God and has a deep desire to reach people in broken places. This Chicago native began working in full-time ministry in 2003 as the youth pastor of New Life Covenant; it was a post that he held for 10 years. During that time, he also directed a nine-month discipleship program called Chicago Master’s Commission. In 2017, he became a licensed minister through the Assemblies of God and is currently the pastor of New Life Covenant Humboldt Park Campus under the leadership of Senior Pastor Wilfredo “Choco” De Jesus.

Marrero holds a Bachelor of Ministry degree in Biblical Counseling from West Coast Bible College and Seminary.

He and his wife, Marisol, have three children.
