Rory Noland to Speak at Judson University Worship Arts Lecture Series
(Elgin, IL - February 10, 2012) Judson University welcomes Rory Noland as its speaker for the spring 2012 Worship Arts Lecture Series on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 1151 N. State Street in Elgin. Noland will be leading worship in Herrick Chapel at 10 a.m., with a band comprised of student co-leaders from the Judson University chapel ministry teams. In the evening, he will share from his most recent book, Worship on Earth As It Is in Heaven, in a lecture beginning at 7 p.m. in the Eagle Lounge, Lindner Tower.
Noland is the director of Heart of the Artist Ministries, an organization dedicated to serving artists in the church. A songwriter, speaker, church leader, and consultant, he is also the author of four books, all published by Zondervan. The original worship director at Willow Creek Community Church, Noland currently serves part-time as pastor of Worship at Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows, Ill., and leads worship for the Transforming Center, a ministry that cares for the souls of pastors and leaders. Rory also writes a monthly column for “Worship Leader Magazine.”
