for Excellence in Theological Studies

The Award for Excellence in Theological Studies, honoring the outstanding graduating major in Theological Studies, was introduced on April 11, 2012. Criteria for consideration for the award include a GPA of 3.5 in THS courses and 3.0 overall in a minimum of six semesters at Judson University, and outstanding completion of the THS major including a thesis project.
A plaque honoring the recipients of The Award for Excellence in Theological Studies is mounted near the Biblical and Theological Studies faculty offices on the 3d floor of the Lindner Tower.

for Excellence in Biblical Studies

The Erickson Prize, honoring the outstanding graduating major in Biblical Studies, was introduced at the inaugural Theta Alpha Kappa banquet on April 18, 2005. Criteria for consideration for the award include a GPA of 3.5 in BST courses and 3.0 overall in a minimum of six semesters at Judson University, and completion of two semesters of the same biblical language.
The prize is named in honor of Professor Robert D. Erickson, a founding faculty member of Judson College in 1963 and presently the Julius R. Mantey Professor of Biblical Studies. A plaque honoring Professor Erickson and the recipients of The Erickson Prize is mounted near the Biblical and Theological Studies faculty offices on the 3d floor of the Lindner Tower.
