What do you do in your current job and what do you enjoy about it?
I oversee a team of Business Development Consultants that is responsible for the development of 200 franchisees across six states. I love helping both my team and the franchisees we support to grow and develop, and I also love the diversity of working with everything from small start-up businesses to ones that do over $20 million in annual revenue.

How did your Judson experience influence you professionally? What were your favorite parts of being a Judson student?
Judson shaped my career. The skilled and caring professors that took time to meet me where I was and challenged me to be better helped get me where I am today. Thanks to Dr. Alden and Prof. Stahr, I was able to get an internship with ServiceMaster and, 11 years later, I am now a director in the organization responsible for overseeing $120 million in annual revenue. Prof. Stahr took time to build a relationship with me that I still value to this day. I look back with fond memories of my experience at Judson.

What are the strengths of your major/program at Judson?
One of Judson’s greatest strengths is that the professors have real world experience and not just textbook knowledge. They are professors with passion and care for their students. The business program is well rounded and more than prepared me to make the leap into my career.

What advice can you give to current and prospective students about their time at Judson?
Trust your professors. They care about your well-being, and above all, work hard – it does make a difference.
