Pat A. Hargis, Associate Professor of Writing and Literature, began teaching at Judson in 1987. He is a 1977 alumnus of Judson in Human Relations (Psychology). He has done graduate work at Illinois State University, Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, The University of Virginia, and Northern Illinois University, and he has received MAs from Northern Seminary (Theological Studies) and Virginia (Religion and Literature). Previous work includes two years as a youth pastor and three years as archivist at the Marion E. Wade Center at Wheaton College. Prof. Hargis's family consists of his wife, Jill (Goodin) Hargis, and their two children, Katie (b. 1984) and Jeremiah (b. 1992).
