Biography
Becky has been a public school teacher, primarily in Palatine District 15, for forty-five years and is now retired. She enjoys intermediate-age students. As one of the first teachers in the mid-west to use literature discussion groups in the classroom, Becky continues to appreciate using tradebooks as a vehicle for learning. Since her husband, Dr. Howard Searle, runs a support organization for an India medical mission organization, Emmanuel Hospital Association, she is also involved in encouraging him and his efforts.
