Joy Towner - Spotlight

Joy TownerProfessor Joy Towner is an elementary teacher with a passion for reading!  She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana and her Master's degree in Reading Education from Northern Illinois University and was then trained through Reading Recovery.  She has been an elementary classroom teacher as well as an elementary building reading specialist.  Her education and experiences have awarded her the opportunity to provide in-service for elementary faculty as well as train Judson pre-service teachers for over 5 years.
