Biography

After completing graduate school, Julene began working with a small firm as an in-home personal trainer on the North Shore and downtown Chicago. At the end of 2 years, she began her own personal training business in the same area. During this time period, Julene was also employed full-time at Willow Creek Community Church as the Assistant Sports Ministry Director. Currently, she trains a smaller clientele at the Kishwaukee YMCA in Sycamore, and teaches in ESS and DACE as an adjunct professor for Judson University.

Outside of Judson, Julene and her husband, Eric, have 3 young children. Her interests include sports, running, biking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is also actively involved in her local church with her husband where they serve as small group and AWANA leaders.
