What do you do in your current job and what do you enjoy about it?
I negotiate with commercial customers when they are purchasing or returning equipment such as aircraft, railcars, tractor-trailers and construction equipment. I earned a degree in psychology and this position gives me the opportunity to use it. I can determine what motivates people, what matters to them and I can work out what will make them happy. I've been the top producer for six years in my group and I think the psychology training is the reason.

How did your Judson experience influence you professionally? What were your favorite parts of being a Judson student?
Judson changed my life. I found my direction, my purpose, lifelong friends, and the career path I have had for almost 20 years. I became a Christian at Judson due in large part to these lifelong friends, the professors and the general mindset at Judson. God is first; accept Him, follow Him, and He will take care of you. I am at peace with knowing He is in control and I don't sweat stuff. I learned that at Judson. The small classes were a perfect way to really get to know the information. The professors are very involved and keep you accountable. My friends are irreplaceable. It was the best choice for me.

What are the strengths of your major/program at Judson?
Judson has a very strong psychology program. I knew that was what I wanted to major in when I got there. Every class reinforced that it was the right thing for me. I like that there are only a few professors in each area and that you are consistently taught the same way.

What advice can you give to current and prospective students about their time at Judson?
Judson will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You will be given every opportunity to have the closest relationship with God that you can. You will be supported by the community, the staff, teachers, administrators and students. You will not get lost in the shuffle. You will be known, you will be seen and you will be heard. You will be given every opportunity to do whatever you are driven to do. I couldn't recommend it more highly. Judson changed my life and it will change yours, too.
