Judson University’s worship arts program features a unique blend of theory and practice, including more worship-specific classes than found in any other undergraduate curriculum in the country. Students study the biblical, historical, and theological foundations of worship, laying a solid foundation that prepares them to serve churches of all shapes and sizes.
Music classes feature contemporary worship music alongside the classics, allowing students to learn fundamentals of music while utilizing the soundtrack of their faith. Students take several communication classes, as well, so that they not only have something of value to say but also know how to say it. Faculty members serve in local churches, sharing with students during the week what they share with their congregations on the weekends.
Practical opportunities for learning outside the classroom, like internships and the chapel ministry teams, complement students’ studies. And off-campus experiences introduce students to the richness and diversity of the Body of Christ found in and around a city like Chicago. Come and join the learners, worshipers, and leaders in the Worship Arts community at Judson University.
