Condoleezza Rice, former Secretary of State to U.S. President George W. Bush from 2005-2009, was the featured keynote speaker for Judson University’s 2014 World Leaders Forum. Rice is the second woman and first African American woman to hold the position as U.S. Secretary of State. She also served as Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (National Security Advisor) to the Bush Administration from 2001-2005, the first woman to hold that position.

Since leaving the White House, Rice has authored two bestselling books, No Higher Honor: A Memoir of My Years in Washington and Extraordinary, Ordinary People: A Memoir of Family.

Rice is currently a professor of Political Economy in the Graduate School of Business; the Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution; and a professor of Political Science at Stanford University. She is the founding partner of RiceHadleyGates LLC.
