The World Leaders Forum brings world renowned speakers to the Judson Campus each year, to give students and the community a chance to hear an inspiring message, take an active interest in the framework of leadership, understand how leaders develop, and even ask questions and seek advice from someone who has made a global impact on our world.

Dr. BEN CARSON
Dr. Ben Carson will keynote the seventh annual World Leaders Forum on April 20, 2017. Dr. Carson is the emeritus professor of neurosurgery, oncology, plastic surgery and pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
A dedicated leader and physician, Dr. Carson gained national attention when he spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast in 2013. He captivates audiences nationwide with his impassioned political beliefs and commitment to faith. Dr. Carson currently serves as the national chairman of My Faith Votes, a nonpartisan organization that focuses on motivating Christian Americans to vote.
Dr. Carson, named one of the nation’s top 20 physicists and scientists by CNN and TIME magazine in 2001, holds more than 60 honorary doctorate degrees. He is also the recipient of numerous prestigious awards for his pioneering work, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom (2008) – the nation’s highest award for civilians.
In 1987 as Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Carson successfully separated Siamese twins who were conjoined at the back of the head – the first and only successful surgery of its type to this day. His achievements also include successfully completing surgery on a fetus still in the womb and developing new methods for the treatment of brain tumors and seizures. In addition to his distinguished career, Dr. Carson has authored nine books, four of which focus on providing inspiration and insight for leading a successful life.
