Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair Speaks at Judson University’s World Leaders Forum
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair spoke to a crowd of more than 750 area business leaders, dignitaries, and Judson University community members at the institution’s annual World Leaders Forum on Friday, April 12.

The day's events began with a VIP Reception in the Betty Lindner Campus Commons for sponsors and entrepreneurs, where Mr. Blair gave his keynote address, "Leadership Insights: Faith, Power and the Postmodern World," followed by a moderated Q&A session. He answered a variety of questions, from current events and issues facing world leaders today, to questions about his personal career, recounting the significant moments and lessons on leadership and faith from his time serving as Britain's prime minister.
Following the VIP Reception, Mr. Blair addressed a full Herrick Chapel, where Judson students, staff, faculty, and alumni were gathered.

In the extended Q&A session, moderated by Judson alumnus and trustee Dr. Nate Adams '80, Mr. Blair addressed a variety of questions about the state of political affairs and current events worldwide, his leadership of Great Britain, his personal faith journey, and how he balanced his roles as a world leader and a person of faith in making tough decisions.

The World Leaders Forum does more than offer our students and area professionals the opportunity to be in the presence of and be inspired by World Leaders, it serves as a catalyst to raise the capital necessary to begin an Entrepreneurial Studies Program at Judson University. One dream to fund another - the cycle continues as future leaders come to Judson with aspirations of acquiring the knowledge and connections necessary to give their entrepreneurial dreams life.
