Statement of Purpose 

The Master of Leadership in Ministry (MLM) is an innovative,accelerated, (18 months), cohort-based, in-ministry program designed to educate, equip, and empower scholar-leaders for vocational ministry in churches and other ministry organizations. Building on knowledge and competencies developed in bachelors’ degrees currently offered by the Department of Christian Ministries (or comparable degrees), course work is focused on integrating foundational knowledge of the Bible, theology, social sciences, leadership, and ministry practice.  The program utilizes a hybrid of online coursework combined with strategically chosen face-to-face sessions including two courses taught on location in Israel. 

Graduate education at Judson University provides students with advanced learning and skills within a specialized discipline. Graduate students create original work that is rigorously evaluated by professors and peers, demonstrating breadth of scholarship and integrative critical thinking skills. Graduate students demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation in their studies and creatively contribute knowledge and skills to their field.
