Biography
Dale Simmons has lived most of his life in the Midwest, but at one time or another has lived in every major geographic area of the U.S. except the deep South.  Having spent his teen years in the Pacific Northwest, Oregon remains his sentimental home.  A passion for the breadth of the Liberal Arts tradition (or is it a short attention span?) led Dr. Simmons to pursue an interdisiplinary doctorate (then called the 19th Century Studies Program) at Drew University, with a general focus on American Religion and Culture and a more narrow focus on the late-19th and early-20th century Holiness and Pentacostal traditions.  Prior to coming to Judson he taught at Touro College, Dana College and then Bethel College (IN) where he eventually served as Associate Dean.
