Mass Anthem

Judson's newest worship band

Mass Anthem consists of four members: Chad Sowards, Tyler Sowards, Jon Moment, and Joel Hitchcock, who are all passionate about sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through music. The group came together in the fall of 2012 at Judson University. Three of the bandmates are Judson students: Jon (bass guitar), of Yorkville, Ill., is a junior majoring in Music Business; Joel (guitar, keys, BGV's), of Marshfield, Wisc., is a junior majoring in Worship Arts and minoring Biblical Studies; Chad (lead vocals, guitar), of Ottawa, Ill., is a junior studying Worship Arts, and has been chosen to be a student worship leader for Judson's chapel in 2014-15. Tyler (drums), Chad's brother, is a business graduate of Olivet Nazarene University.

"We have had the wonderful opportunity of leading worship at several churches and camps across the midwest region. We are very excited to see how God will use us this summer at Springhill camp in Evart, Mich., as well as in the years to come. God continues to bless our efforts and we are so blessed to offer our musical talent back to Him." - Jon Moment, Mass Anthem
