Network Night | A chance to build connections, build community, build careersThere has never been a better time for making professional connections. Join our students, faculty, alumni and other local business men and women for an evening of professional networking at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 29. The evening's proceedings will begin with an hour of networking with other guests, followed by a short talk led by Judson alumnus and author David Rendall whose recent book The Freak Factor discusses how to leverage your strengths while appreciating and embracing your weaknesses.
Rendall, a professional speaker and trainer, provides leadership seminars and keynote presentations throughout the U.S, Canada, India, Australia and the U.K. for clients such as AT&T, Tyco International and Duke University. He is also a management professor at Mount Olive College and a stand-up comedian who has earned a doctor of management degree and a graduate degree in counseling.
6:30pm - 7:30pm: Time for mixing and mingling! Connect with peers, professors, colleagues and cultivate new business contacts. Drinks and hors d'ouvres provided.
7:30pm - 8:10pm: Author of The Freak Factor and Judson alumnus David Rendall will lead a discussion on discovering success through embracing personal weaknesses.
8:10pm - 8:30pm: A time to wrap up conversations, share business cards and resumés, and connect with author and speaker David Rendall.
