Judson Theater Program

Judson University’s Theater Program produces a full season of shows each year including plays, musicals, improv, and student-directed projects. Directors include Judson Professors, Judson Theater Alumni, and guest artists with professional theater experience.

Judson Theater Scholarships are available to incoming students wishing to participate in Judson’s Theater Program. Students do not have to be Theater majors to receive a scholarship. For more information, contact Kimberly Schmidt.

Light of the World Featuring John, His Story

Judson University Theatre Department commences its spring season with another showing in the Ars Liturgica Series titled The Light of the World  featuring “John, His Story” by Jeannette Clift George.  “John, His Story” is the seven great signs that Jesus did, seen through eyewitness accounts. The show will be directed by Naomi Rogers. Dates are March 17, 18,19 and 20 at 7 p.m. in the Marjorie Thulin Performance Hall in the Thompson Fine Arts Center (1151 N. State St., Elgin).

 

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and staff, $8 for seniors and groups of 10 or more. For tickets, call the Box Office at 847-628-2625 or send an email request to jutheatretickets@judsonu.edu.
