Adjunct Instructor of Speech Communication

Job Summary:

The adjunct professor will teach undergraduate students in the Communication Arts Department.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage the class syllabus calendar, ensure college standards are met, and meet Registrar’s Office requirements of attendance and grade submissions. Adjuncts may meet monthly with the department chair or a current instructor for accountability and address questions and or issues.


Candidates should 1) hold a graduate degree in Communication or 18 graduate hours in communication and/or comparable speaking experience, 2) share a commitment to excellence in teaching within a Christ-centered academic community, 3) demonstrate a vital and growing Christian faith.

Adjunct faculty hold the rank of instructor and are hired on a per course basis.
