Job Summary:

The Department of History seeks an adjunct instructor to teach the world History course HIS262: History of Civilizations II since 1500 in Fall 2019 (08/19/19-12/07/19). The course is delivered online.

Primary Responsibilities:

Teach HIS262: History of Civilizations II since 1500 which satisfies a General Education requirement. Instructors are responsible for designating their own textbooks, creating appropriate lesson plans and assignments, grading papers, holding regular office hours, and submitting both midterm and final grades.

Qualifications:

Candidates should 1) hold at least a master’s degree in History, 2) share a commitment to excellence in teaching within a Christ-centered academic community, 3) demonstrate a vital and growing Christian faith. Experience in teaching courses similar to HIS262 is preferred

Salary/Benefits:
Adjunct faculty hold the rank of instructor and are hired on a per course basis.
