Adjunct Instructor of Screenwriting

Job Summary:

The Department of English seeks an adjunct instructor to teach ENG442: Screenwriting, which introduces students to the basics of writing for television and film. The class meets on Wednesday, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Primary Responsibilities:

Instructors are responsible for composing the course syllabus, selecting and ordering textbooks (if any), creating appropriate lesson plans and assignments, grading papers, holding regular office hours, and submitting both midterm and final grades.

Qualifications:

Candidates should 1) hold at least a master’s degree in English, or an equivalent publication history, 2) share a commitment to excellence in teaching within a Christ-centered academic community, 3) demonstrate a vital and growing Christian faith

Salary/Benefits:
Adjunct faculty hold the rank of instructor and are hired on a per course basis.
