Job Opportunity Postings & Career Events

The Judson University Alumni Department currently hosts job boards in Judson Connect, our new online portal. In the portal you can network with current students, your fellow alumni and members of the greater Judson community. posts jobs, career events and resources as a courtesy to alumni. 

Here are some suggestions to help you use Judson Connect to its fullest:

How to Create Your Judson Connect Account

  • Go to
  • You can either login using your LinkedIn credentials and transfer that information into your Judson Connect profile or you can create your account from scratch.
  • You will be asked several questions relating to your interests, industry and goals. Please enter your primary member type (student, staff, alumni, parent, support or employer). Continue to follow the prompts until you reach your Judson Connect dashboard.

How to Connect with Members

  • Select Members at the top of your Judson Connect dashboard.
  • Using the navigation tools on the far left side, you can search for connections based on location, industry, class year, major, job title, and more.
  • Once you have selected a member, you can begin a chat or set up a call using the online system. Both features provide you with templates and prompts to begin your conversation.
  • You can also connect with members by joining Communities (see below). 

Selecting Judson Communities

Communities are a place for members of the Judson community to connect in a group format based on shared work experiences, university departments, extra- or co-curricular activities, etc. Members can make connections, exchange content and resources, schedule and advertise events, share files and participate in group discussions. Each community has an administrator and members can suggest new communities for approval. Communities can be public, private or invitation-only depending on the particular group. Anyone in Judson Connect has the ability to join a public community. 

How to Join a Community

  • Click on the Communities tab at the top of your dashboard.
  • You can explore the various communities on the platform.
  • Click on a community of interest and select "Join Community" on the right side of the screen.
  • Repeat the process for each community you wish to join.

Navigating A Community

  • Each community has an "About" tab, a "Members" tab, a "Discussion" tab, an "Events" tab, and a "Files" tab.
  • The About tab features a general overview of the community and their purpose.
  • The Members tab shows everyone who is a member of the community.
  • The Discussions tab is used for conversations among the members. (On the job boards, you will find current job and internship postings on this tab.)
  • The Files tab can be used to house important documents, images or videos.

How to View Your Profile Settings

At the top of your dashboard, you will see a small image of yourself (or your initials if you have not uploaded an image) with a drop down menu. The drop down menu enables you to view your profile, update your account settings, view your communities, and view your discussion posts.
