Constitution Day at Judson University to Feature AM560 Host Dan Proft

Dan Proft(ELGIN, IL – September 10, 2019) Judson University will commemorate Constitution Day on Sept. 18 with special guest speaker Dan Proft, who will give a presentation at 10 a.m. in Herrick Chapel (1151 N. State St., Elgin).

Dan Proft is an entrepreneur, editorial contributor to the Chicago Tribune, former Republican candidate for Governor, and radio talk show host with AM560 The Answer. He voices a popular political commentary, “:60 of Sanity,” reaching an audience of two million weekly listeners on Salem Radio Network.

A Senior Fellow at the Illinois Policy Institute, a free market think tank in Chicago, Proft also serves on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations. He holds a J.D. from Loyola University-Chicago School of Law and a B.A. from Northwestern University.

Proft joins the ranks of an honorable group of public intellectuals who have previously spoken at Judson University’s Constitution Day Commemoration. Most recently, the university has hosted Eric Metaxas and Jay Sekulow.

Proft’s keynote speech during Judson’s Chapel event is free and open to the public. Judson’s Constitution Day observance is sponsored through the generous support of OTTO Engineering, Inc., which designs and manufactures control switches and two-way radio communication products for a variety of unique and standard applications.
