Dr. Jeffrey Henderson Named William W. Brady Chair of Science

Jeffrey Henderson Installation(ELGIN, IL – November 20, 2019) Judson University installed Dr. Jeffrey Henderson to a three-year term as the William W. Brady Chair of Science during a ceremony held November 20 on Judson's campus. He was recognized for his excellence in academics, faith, and his contributions to science in particular and Provost Gillian Stewart-Wells shared a brief history of endowed chairs at the University.

Judson University appoints several chair professorships to the faculty on the basis of their excellence in teaching and scholarship, length of service to Judson University, and the cause of Christian education. Dr. Henderson earned this recognition through his research and teaching at Judson University as a student and faculty member, his academic publishing in several journals and societies, and his spiritual commitment to the church through membership.

Dr. Henderson’s installation was attended and the resolution was signed by Provost Gillian Stewart-Wells, Associate Provost of Academic Curriculum Dr. Lanette Poteete-Young, and President of Judson University Dr. Gene Crume. Former Brady chair Dr. Rolf Myhrman also attended the installation ceremony.
