Judson University to Host Annual Literacy in Motion Conference from June 18-20

(ELGIN, IL – June 5, 2019) Judson University’s Master of Education in Literacy will host its annual Literacy in Motion Conference from Tuesday -Thursday, June 18-20, at the Creekside South Education Building (1151 N. State St., Elgin). Registration ends June 12 and costs $330.

This annual conference welcomes educators from all over the world to learn from speakers about instructional methods for elevating literacy in K-12 classrooms. Educators who attend the three-day conference can earn 13 professional development (PD) hours or enroll for graduate credit.

This year’s speakers include leading educators like Jeffrey Wilhelm, Debbie Miller, Bob Shea, Pam Muñoz Ryan, and Gravity Goldberg. Unlike typical conferences, Judson’s conference is limited to 200 participants, ensuring that every attendee gets a seat and the opportunity to interact with speakers.

In addition to several keynote speeches, there will also be breakout sessions, workshops, and book sales.
