Judson University to Host Job Fair and Network Night on September 26

Kesha Kent (ELGIN, IL – September 4, 2019) Judson University will host a Job Fair and its annual Network Night on September 26 as part of the Homecoming and Family Weekend Celebration.

Both events will welcome alumni and current students with an opportunity to meet with businesses searching for new employees and for an evening of networking and inspiration in the Reed Room of Lindner Tower (1151 N. State St., Elgin). The Job Fair begins at 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. while the Network Event begins at 6:30 p.m. and continues until 8:30 p.m.

This year’s speaker will be Kesha Kent, empowerment speaker, author and trainer with over 17 years of human resources experience. She is a graduate of Judson University, holding both and Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Leadership and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership.

Kent is a wife, mother, and energetic influencer seeking to help others reach their potential. She draws individuals in and helps them to grow, develop, and build professional relationships. She will share how “Networking is Your Superpower” and will lead participants in an opportunity to network with each other during the event.

Judson’s Networking Night provides opportunities for students and alumni to hear from distinguished alumni of the University, allowing for people to build connections, community, and careers.

Previous speakers of the event have included Lori Heiselman ’93, founder and CEO of Biscuit Media Group in Nashville, Tenn., David Plummer ’98, executive producer of WCIU-TV “The Jam,” and Jack Frisby ’81, sales coaching executive and author.
