Professor Hosts Korean Scholarship Concert

Korean Fundraiser (Elgin, IL  May 12, 2022) Dr. Sojung Lee Hong, professor of Music at Judson University, will host the annual Judson Korean Music Scholarship Fundraising Concert on Sunday, May 22, at 4:00 p.m. in Herrick Chapel on Judson University’s picturesque riverside campus (1151 N. State Street, Elgin, IL 60123). This year’s concert is entitled “I Love a Piano” and will feature guest pianist Ann Chang as well as several former graduates of the Music Certificate Program that Dr. Hong directs at Judson University. This longstanding and successful certificate program has graduated many talented international musicians, most of whom have gone on to obtain graduate degrees from leading higher education institutions across the US. The concert will be followed by an optional catered dinner in Judson’s dining hall at 5:30 p.m.
